ArkPassport is a component of the Armada MD Telehealth Platform. ISM collaborated with Armada to prototype and develop telehealth solutions for the growing market. Armada takes an innovative approach to tackle the privacy and security challenges associated with individuals' health information, simultaneously facilitating secure data sharing for medical purposes.
With Armada exploring commercialization opportunities, our emphasis was on crafting a user experience that fosters adaptation and engagement. Advocating for a user-centric approach, I firmly believe that creating a desirable and relevant product greatly benefits from testing ideas with all user groups. Hence, our process revolved around multiple cycles of building, testing, co-designing, learning, and revising.
Design process (blurred on purpose)
Following a design review meeting with the developer, we compiled a comprehensive handoff file. This file included detailed instructions regarding the user flow and various UI components. The purpose of this handoff file was to facilitate a smooth transition from the design phase to the development phase, ensuring clear guidance for the implementation of the user interface.
This project brought together a diverse group of people, and it's essential to highlight how crucial it was to listen to various voices, both internal and external, along with their experiences and feedback. Interacting with different individuals in stakeholder meetings, co-design workshops, technical design audits, user testing, and discussions about design systems and developer handoff enriched my experience and knowledge significantly.
